For entrance into Year 7 in September 2025 please see below a reminder of some key dates.

Appeals
Parents/Carers whose application has been unsuccessful have the right to appeal to an independent Appeals Panel. Appeals will be conducted in accordance with the Code of Practice for Schools Admissions Appeals.
If you wish to appeal for a Year 7 place at Churchdown School for entrance September 2025, please email school@churchdownschool.com for further information. Please only do this once the second round of allocations has been issued by the Local Authority (end of March).
- The deadline for returning the completed appeal form will be 9th May 2025.
- Year 7 appeal hearings will take place w/c 9th June 2025.
- Parents will be informed of the hearing arrangements two weeks prior.

In-Year Admissions
For late entrants i.e. all other admissions except for Sixth Form and entry into Year 7 in September, parents are advised to contact Mrs J Walsh, on 01452 713340 to check whether the school has vacancies for the relevant year and to arrange an interview and obtain an application form if there is a vacancy.

Visiting the School – Open Evening and daytime tours
We know that you can only make an informed decision about a school if you see it in action on a normal school day.
Opening Evening
Our Open Evening is being held on Wednesday 24th September from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. The Headteacher presentations will take place at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Also included in the evening is a tour where you can get a feel for the school. We would advise you to arrive in good time as the evening is very popular with prospective parents. Booking is not required.
Open days
Parents will have an opportunity to tour the school with the Headteacher or a member of the Leadership Team each morning starting at 9am or 9.45am. These tours begin on Thursday 25th September and conclude on Tuesday 21st October. The tour is an opportunity for you to see the school in action and have your questions answered by the Headteacher.
