Where's Your Head At? - Let’s Change The Law to Protect Our Mental HealthBeat provides support and guidance for people who are affected by eating disorders and their families. They can be contacted online or by phone 365 days a year.

They provide advice around eating disorders including bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED), and anorexia. They also support family and friends, to equip them with essential skills and advice to help them support their loved ones to recover whilst also looking after their own mental health.

Talk ED is a national, peer-led charity supporting anyone affected by any eating disorder or eating distress. They offer personalised, practical and accessible peer-led services including a range of free 1:1 and group support services. They aim to provide a safe space to discuss your struggles with any eating disorder or eating distress, including, but not limited to, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, other specified eating and feeding disorders (OSFED). They also offer support groups for families and workshops.

stem4 is a charity that promotes positive mental health in teenagers and those who support them including their families and carers through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention.

This is primarily provided digitally through an innovative education programme, pioneering mental health apps and their clinically-informed website. The website supports self-help through their mental health app library, website and booklets. Their web app library signposts and gives a comprehensive overview of a range of apps that can be used to support mental health.

 

 

NHS Gloucestershire Health & Care Eating Disorder Service (Brownhill Centre)

The Brownhills Centre is part of Gloucestershire NHS. It offers specialist advice, guidance and support to people who are diagnosed with a range of eating disorders and their families.
